A boarding school, Carpe Diem supports two buildings for the female and male students. They stand at complete opposite ends of the academy.

The cafeteria and auditorium can be found near the Core building.

The courtyard is a huge space, having the rest of the school's buildings basically surround it. Known as 'the heart', the very center of the courtyard lays an old fashion octagonal gazebo. Around it are many white round tables; in the warmer seasons, umbrellas are propped up.

The gym is a large part of the student's lives. Includes swimming pool, court, and track.

Outside the doors of Carpe Diem Academy lays the rest of great Chicago. Locations include the theatres, malls, restaurants, clubs and more.

The third of the great lakes, Chicago borders the west end of lake Michigan.

This is where all the awards will be voted and discussed.
